We built this App to help you download publicly shared photos, videos, and stories from social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Status) by pasting a link, for personal offline viewing.

The App does **not** require account creation or login. We do **not** collect, store, or have access to:

- Your social media usernames, passwords, or login credentials

- Private account content (the App is designed to work only with publicly shared or accessible content, and WhatsApp Status content already saved to your device)

- Personal identity information such as your name, phone number, or email address

## 2. Information We Do Collect

### a) Links You Provide

When you paste a link into the App, the App locates and downloads the associated public media file directly to your device. **We do not operate or use any backend server, and the link you paste is never sent to us or stored by us in any form.** All processing happens locally within the App on your device.

### b) Device Permissions

The App requests the following permissions to function:

- **Storage / Media Access** — to save downloaded photos, videos, and audio files to your device's public storage directory (so the files are visible in your device's Gallery/Files app like any other downloaded media) and to display your downloads within the App.

- **Internet Access** — to fetch the public media file located at the link you paste, directly from the platform hosting it.

We do not use these permissions to read, scan, collect, or upload any personal files, photos, or media on your device that are unrelated to a link you have actively chosen to download.

### c) Advertising Data

The App displays ads through **Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)**. Google and its advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, general location (city/region level), and app usage data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. This data collection is governed by Google's own privacy policy, linked below.

### d) Automatically Collected Technical Data

Like most apps, we may receive standard technical information such as device model, operating system version, crash logs, and app performance data to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

## 3. WhatsApp Status Downloads

For WhatsApp Status, the App only reads status media files that WhatsApp has already saved to your device's local storage (in WhatsApp's own status folder) so that you can view and save a copy within the App. The App does not connect to WhatsApp's servers, does not access your WhatsApp account or messages, and does not transmit this content anywhere.

## 4. How We Use Information

The App does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server owned or operated by us. The only information that leaves your device is the standard advertising and diagnostic data described above, which is collected directly by Google's SDKs (not by us) to display ads and keep the App stable.

We do **not** sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties, because we do not collect any to begin with.

The App is intended strictly for personal, non-commercial use, such as offline viewing of content you already have the right to view. We do not encourage, promote, or condone using the App to infringe copyright, violate any platform's terms of service, or redistribute another creator's content without permission. Users are solely responsible for how they use downloaded content and for complying with the terms of service of the respective social media platforms.

## 7. Data Storage & Security

Downloaded media is saved locally to a public storage directory on your device (visible via your device's Gallery or Files app), not to any remote server or cloud account controlled by us. Since no personal data is transmitted to us, there is no server-side data of yours for us to secure or lose. Standard device-level security (screen lock, device encryption) protects files stored on your device.

## 8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

- You can disable device permissions (such as storage access) at any time through your device settings, though this may limit the App's functionality.
